    Applying Key form to my models face to capture the detail and facial features
    Reinforcing the lifecast with plaster bandage to prevent the plaster from deforming in the mould.
    Final sculpt on the positive lifecast.

    Floating off. Two 2-part moulds needed to be created as there would have been an undercut.
    Poisitive section of 2-part nose mould.
    Floated beak applied and prepared onto sectional cast.
    Beak prepared with touch downs to create negative mould.
    Positive & Negative sections to the 2-part mould.
    Weights added onto both parts to ensure no excess silicone was left in the mould.
    Trial piece. the beak was not as 'sharp' as the sculpt.
    The second run of the beak was more successful, it was painted with illustrator pallette on acetone based cap plastic.
    Lower beak painted ready for application.
